There is no button to aim at. Tap anywhere and the number goes up.

Dhikr is usually done with the eyes lowered or closed, and a counter that makes you find a small target pulls your attention back to the screen on every single repetition. A short vibration confirms each count instead, so you can tell it registered without looking. A double tick marks every 33, and a different pattern tells you the target arrived. All of it works with the phone face down.

This is the complaint that comes up again and again about every other counter, physical and digital: the battery goes, the app is killed in the background, the tab closes, and the number is gone.

Here each tap is written to your browser as it happens, not when you finish. Close the tab at 78, restart the phone, come back tomorrow: it opens at 78. There is no save button because there is nothing to save.

8 of the 21 carry no target. That is deliberate. No count is narrated for those phrases, and a number that appears in a hadith and a number that became common through repetition are not the same thing. Showing both the same way quietly turns one into the other, so the counter says "no set count" and leaves the choice to you.

Most counters stop at the 33s. The narrated sequence does not, so this one runs 9 steps in order and advances on its own as each lands, keeping the reference for the step you are on in view.

The three Quls now close the sequence with verified Qur'anic text. Ayat al-Kursi is available as a separate verified preset, but it is not a guided step because its post-salah narration is outside the source collections this site can link to directly. The app explains that remaining gap when the sequence finishes. There is a page for the sequence on its own.

It opens at a URL. Add it to your home screen and it opens full screen with no browser bar, which is as close to an installed app as makes any difference, without an app store in the way.

After the first visit it works with no connection. There are no ads, no account, no email capture and no analytics on your counting. Your counts live in your browser and nowhere else.

Is this a tasbeeh counter too?

Yes. Tasbih and tasbeeh are one Arabic word, تسبيح, written two ways in English letters, and neither spelling is more correct than the other. Tesbih and tasbeh are the same word again. Whichever you typed, this is the page.

Is this tasbih counter free?

Yes. No ads, no account, no email and no payment. There is nothing to buy and nothing to sign up for.

Will it lose my count?

No. Every tap is written to your browser the moment it happens rather than when you finish, so a crash, a closed tab or a restart leaves the number where it was.

Does it work offline?

Yes, after the first visit. The page stores itself in your browser and opens with no connection at all, on a plane or with no data left.

Do I need to install an app?

Why do 8 of the presets show no number?

Because no count is narrated for those phrases. Rather than filling in a figure that only became common through repetition, the counter says “no set count” and lets you choose your own knowing the difference.

Where is my data stored?

In your browser, on your device. There is no server holding your counts, no analytics on your counting and nothing to sync.
